2009 Australian Grand Prix Jenson Button led the Brawn GP team to victory in the opening round of the season, achieving his second Grand Prix win displaying a stunning debut race weekend for the British-based team. Team-mate Rubens Barrichello brought his BGP 001 car home in second position to achieve the first one-two finish for the new team.
1979 Monaco Grand Prix Jody Scheckter led in his Ferrari 312T4 as Team-mate Gilles Villeneuve closed in. After Villeneuve later retired with a broken gearbox, Scheckter soon had Clay Regazzoni to worry about, as he was closing fast. Despite his best efforts, the Swiss driver crossed the line less than half a second behind Scheckter.

1956 Monaco Grand Prix Stirling Moss celebrated his first Monaco Grand Prix Victory, taking the lead from Fangio on the first lap. After making contact with the harbour wall on lap 32, Fangio then took control of Team-mate Collins’ car. On lap 86 Perdisa’s brakes locked when being lapped by Moss, the resulting contact caused Moss’ bonnet to lift allowing Fangio to close the gap by two seconds each lap but Moss won with a 6 second cushion.
