1956 Monaco Grand Prix     Stirling Moss celebrated his first Monaco Grand Prix Victory, taking the lead from Fangio on the first lap. After making contact with the harbour wall on lap 32, Fangio then took control of Team-mate Collins’ car. On lap 86 Perdisa’s brakes locked when being lapped by Moss, the resulting contact caused Moss’ bonnet to lift allowing Fangio to close the gap by two seconds each lap but Moss won with a 6 second cushion.
